Description:
We are seeking up to 4 research assistants to work on a pollinator project to track bumblebees and feral honeybees to their nests and hives.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with trapping and following bees.
- Nest-searching and monitoring.
- Familiarity with basic GIS technology.
- The job will entail working outdoors in all kinds of weather, walking variable distances, and driving on backcountry roads (transportation will be provided).
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in ecological field methods.

The start date is April 29, 2024, and assistants will be required to work Saturdays during the spring semester, and other hours during the week as able/willing for up to 10 hours per week.
